It's time to love your body and be confident for summer!

Some people have a hard time feeling confident when summer starts to arrive. You might feel like you're not good enough or that you need to get in shape before you can wear what you want. But there's no need for that! Love yourself and be proud of who you are, no matter what size or shape you are. Even people who YOU think have the most perfect bodies have insecurities.

There are many reasons why people may not be confident in their body or feel like they don't deserve to wear what they want. Whatever that reason may be, it is important that we take the time to love ourselves and appreciate our bodies. It doesn't matter what size you are or what shape you have. You should feel comfortable in your own skin no matter who is looking at you.

Confidence is honestly the sexiest thing you can put on.

In this article I want to discuss some ways that you can start loving your body and being confident for summer!

  • Shed some clothes 
    • Wearing pants, sweats and other things that have kept your body warm in the months leading up to the summer may have left you only feeling comfortable being all covered up. Start to switch it out for shorts, tanks etc. Give yourself time to start to get used to showing some skin
  • Tan it
    • There are so many new alternatives to laying in the sun for days on end to get the summer glow you desire. With so much advancement in over-the-counter tanners, you won’t have to worry about waiting last minute to tan. No better time than the present. Tanning is one way to make you feel more confident in letting your skin show.
  • Baby your skin
    • This should we something you do all year round and one of the things we can do for results that will last throughout the years. We only get one body and how we treat our skin will follow us. Exfoliate and moisturize. Take some time and come up with a routine that is perfect for you. Not just your face, but your whole body.
  • Hydrate, Hydrate, Hydrate
    • This must be your number one rule here. Your body will thrive in so many ways by making sure you are giving it enough water.

LISTEN! We all have insecurities, but now is the time to stop hiding from them and show your beautiful self off! This summer, try not to focus on what other people think about your body, but focus on how much confidence and joy it can bring for yourself!
